I purchased a new 2008 SE 5 speed 4 weeks ago and I am noticing the rattle in the passenger seat when it is not occupied and I go over bumps. I also thought it was the seatbelt but it's not. I am able to make it go away if I hold the plastic trim on the side of the seat. That's the piece with the seat back handle sticking out of it. I thought it might be the handle but it's not. I think it's something under the seat resting against the trim. Has anyone found a solution to this seat rattle? I haven't gone to my dealer yet, I figured I would check with you guys. I love my new car but this is going to drive me nuts.
