No Arm Rest?

I bought a Toyota Avensis 2005, 2.0 Gasoline.
I'm very puzzled about the lack of certain features that the "lesser" toyota corolla 2003 LE has, like cruise control, auto lights on, etc.
But i was really puzzled by the lack of arm rest in the center console.
Is there an OEM / Aftermarket solution for this?
I guess there is not a way to implement Cruise Control and lights auto on now, is there?
