I just find it seems like the dealer is just trying to squeeze more money out of me as I rarely ever buy into these things or the extended warranties as I find they are usually filled with loopholes and strict restrictions....
On my previous car, I would simply bring it annually to Krown rustproofing as I found them to do a great job at rustproofing my car.... However, I also heard that if you take your car to a place like Krown (who drill holes to rustproof), it voids your warranty with Toyota Canada (not sure if this if true...)

I got my 09 corolla sport with Symtech (Paid $400) for it, I was skeptical too but i think they did a good job. every time it rains, i notice the water beads on the car surface , this means symtech is doing its job. I am planing to rust proof it before winter but i don't know where yet
