you can knock a couple hundred off if you change out the oil, filter and air filters on your own as well as rotate the tires. but a lot of the inspections they do aren't things that most people normally look at on their cars

I have never, EVER, had a warranty issue denied for not having a routine service done at the dealer. Heck, I've never had anything denied for not having the routine service done period.
