hey man, not to ding you or anything... but if you don't know much about cars etc... than yeah take it to the dealership....

as for whether you want to take it to your general mechanic or not.... thats up to you, he might not be checking everything, that is specifically recommended by toyota, he might just do fluids... etc....

but seriously, if your not that car savvy, take it to the dealership...

not to ding your pops, but from your comments about rims, and the estimate of a hundred bucks... i wouldn't necessarily go to him on auto advice....

the checkup for a hundred bucks... i'd say that kind of information is at least 20-30 years old...
