Chips are useless. The ECM doesn't actually have a removable chip in it. The performance chips being sold are just resistors that actually accomplish nothing at all. Don't be ripped off by getting one.
You don't need to replace the intake. The factory intake works perfectly. Simply install a TRD or K&N air filter.

what about replacing the oem camry muffler with another oem muffler of better design (maybe a less-restrictive v6 or v8 muffler i.e. supra oem? now
that was the only other way that i thought of, even if it only added .2 hp, in addition to increasing pipe diamter from cat-back by a quarter inch and with mandrel bends (even though the oem crush bends aren't extremely restrictive).
