Hey Guys,
Thanks for the responses.
1) Princess Peach - I am not saying that Philips components are not good. The problem is that they are designed specifically for OEM HID applications. In OEM HID applications the ballasts are usually encased within the headlight to help protect them from water/moisture. In aftermarket HID applications you cannot do this as your headlights are not designed for this. The Xtreme ballasts are specifically designed for this application as they are epoxy sealed to ensure water tightness.
Philips bulbs are slightly longer than the Xtreme bulbs however that has nothing to do with quality/reliability. It is simply the design of the bulb. Ultimately, what is important is that the focal point of the HID bulb is sitting in the right position. If it does not sit in the right position you will not get a proper beam pattern. Our Xtreme bulbs are laser aligned to ensure proper fitment and beam patterns.
2) Yazovets - My pleasure man! Enjoy =)
3) The Xtreme kits are available in 6500k however the 6500k Xtreme bulbs will have a very very similar output to the Philips Ultinon 600k bulbs.
4) sky03 and yeuemhoai - thanks for the support! I am glad to hear you are satisfied with the product.
Hope this helps,
Steve
