That's good to hear, especially knowing you switch it on/off a lot without problems. I recently installed my Xtreme Kit from XenonDepot and covered up the squirrel spotter with an aluminum patch and JB weld. Everything is good so far. Bright, but no glare at all.
My buying experience at XenonDepot has been excellent! And I highly recommend them. Steve was very helpful and personally answered my questions over the phone. I called him twice, and both times, I reached Steve immediately and never felt pressured to buy nor rushed to ask a question. He took the time to answer my concerns.
Also, XD kits includes everything, including
two independent relay harnesses (one for each light). Some kits charges you extra for relay harnesses, and some kits uses one relay harness to operate both lights.
As Steve said, the length of the bulb is less important than having a proper focal point for a projector designed to seat a
H11 halogen bulb. Longer is not necessarily better! OEM HID bulbs may be longer, but our projectors were designed for an H11 bulb which is much shorter. I think it is good that our re-based H11 HID bulb from XenonDepot is shorter to closer match our original H11 halogen bulb to retain proper beam focus and a sharp cutoff.
