I went from a 1967 Chrysler New Yorker to a Corona so gas mileage was great. Although it has a real small engine, it probably gets about 23 to 25 average - that's just a guess since gas was about $0.40 a gallon when I owned mine, so it wasn't a major concern as long as you were getting over 15 MPG.
It's a slow car, you won't be beating anyone from a dead stop going from a traffic light. What kind of driving are you going to be doing with it?
