I have an 04 LE with the 2.4. The last time I calculated my mileage was in the dead of winter during urban driving. It was 26.6 MPG but thats an Imperial gallon 4.55 litres. So I guess knock off about one fifth so 21 mpg. On the highway (winter) I got about 37 MPG again minus one fifth so about 30 mpg. I find this quite good for a 3200 lbs car, my last car was an old V-8 that weighed 3700lbs, the fuel consumption under the same conditions was about 13 mpg and 21 mpg based on the smaller gallon. I drive very moderately in town and cruise about 70 mph on the highway. The Camry is only a little weaker at low speeds/RPM but about the same on the highway and has about the same comfort level, so I'm impressed.
