lol... triple a card, get the 100 mile towing package, and carry your cell phone... it's inevitible that at some point your car will break down on you... no way to predict what will or will not go wrong... you can carry around and entire trunk of tools and parts, and not be able to fix the simplest thing due to lack or tools or part!
edit: if you starter solenoid goes out, tap on it with anything heavy... even a rock will do, and usually, you can get one or more starts of it before it shits out on you, it will knock the solenoid open... your alternator goes out, not a biggy, as long as you keep your car running, you can get it home with a jump... as for a sensor... as noted above sesnor goes out, car will still be able to get you to when you can fix it... each sensor is several hundreds of dollars, and there are sensor all over your car, the tranny along i think has 6....
