They are a little louder than stock. I did move up from a stock 16" Michelin to the 18" Falken.
They have been great in the rain. No hydroplaning or funny handling. They are adequate in the snow. I had them on for one snowstorm and the were OK. I don't think I would want to run them for the entire winter. If you have more than a few inches of snow per season in your area you should get snow tires.
