Ok, I swapped the A/C Mag Clutch with one of the two DRL relays.

The A/C worked fine (no blinking), and the DRL did not. (High beams did, however).

That made me think of when I encountered the problem with the new A/C relay: anytime I turned the temp from "full blast cold" to "medium cold," it started flashing.

I'll return the one I bought for a new one. If that doesn't solve it, is it possible that the $14 relay is just worthless compared to the $53 one? Why is there a price difference?
