Thanks, guys & gals.

This high rev happened after I cleaned the Throttle Body (as best that can be done while still attached). The revs go way up but come right down to about 1,00 RPM. This also happened prior to my attaching the new air intake hose.

Maybe I just have to live with it, but ~ 2,500 rpm at start is disconcerting...
