LOL! Every week or two.... I wash my car almost everyday unless the forecast is calling for rain the next day, and thats a detailed wash, with towel dry, and tire shine... Every weekend it gets the Mother's wax treatment, step #2 - sealer&glaze + step #3 - Carnauba non cleaner wax, step #1 - prewax cleaner is a twice a year or when needed thing... Anyway back on topic I have no problem with the little pool of water I just soak it up with the chamois, oh and in regards to the black plastic piece under the windshield don't forget to shine it up with armour all of whatever u use when detailing, cars gotta be clean
