Uhm most places wont do it for liability reasons. All it takes is for you to leave your car in gear once, and you'll find yourself paying out of your ass for insurance and damages and what not. And there wouldn't be a warranty, receipt or anything else because someone can be found liable for it if there is all that. It's not really a good idea to do it because even if you never leave your car in gear when you park... someone may borrow your car and... well you get the idea.
