Your Mom have a Canadian LE like mine with "Smart Key"..
There is no keyholes in the whole car. Not in the steering, ignition, doors or trunk.
I have tried starting the engine and walk away from the car to see if the engine keeps running and it does.
This brings back a anecdote(sp) about a couple going to a show and let the valet park their car. They have to leave the remote with the valet. After the show valet drives their car to them and they drove off. It's only when they are half way did they realise the valet still have their remote. It's funny but quite scary.
