I drive 5 miles round trip a day, and park in the garage at night. Once a week is suffice for me, as the car just doesn't get dirty.

1 hour x 7 days x 52 weeks x 10 years = 3,640
1 hour x 1 day x 52 weeks x 10 years = 520

3,640 - 520 = 3,120

That is 3,120 hours that I can spend with my family and friends.
