Canadian 2009 Matrix with Nav+ipod+bluetooth

I took the leap of faith and had the Toyota Nav (exactly same as optional factory unit avail in the US) dealer installed on my (read - wife's) 2009 Martix AWD with ipod interface adaptor and bluetooth. First off , aestheticly - it looks great! The NAv has good graphics and some nice features (i.e. ability to sort mutiple destinations on a route ; calender for memos etc., - features that I do not have on my BMW 335i with idrive/Nav). One thing that is annoying about the Nav is that it stops several houses away from actual address, in some cases on the street adjacent if the house is close to a corner. Overall though I am pleased - always wished for a factory Nav in the Matrix (was thrilled that it recently became available as a dealer installed option on the Canadian Matrix). My greatest disappointment is regarding the ipod interface adaptor. The Nav screen does not display "playlists" or song titles/artists when connected to my ipod - this is a shame as the standard non-Nav radio which only had a one line display showed the playlists (up to 5) and the song title/artists; so in this respect, it seemed like a step backward upgrading to the Nav unit. CDs that are in Mp3 format however do display folders/song titles/artists. I may have to create a CD (Mp3 format) with fav,. songs (can probabaly fit about 190 songs on 1 CD) instead of using the ipod adaptor which only display track numbers. Another drawback of the Nav unit is that it only holds 1 CD versus 6 on the standard Radio unit.
