uhm... speaker sizes are 6.5" up front and 6x9s in the back. Don't rely on what they say for headunit wattage. They usually are around 50 x 4 but thats PEAK wattage so you're really getting 15-25 watts RMS, which is a more accurate measure. A new headunit is a good place to start. You could get a new headunit and just get a new sub and amp it of course. Or you could go with headunit and 4 new speakers, but if you did that I'd suggest that you amp it too, it'll sound a lot better and get louder. Or you could do both but that's a bit of money right there. If you are satisfied with your regular speakers then get a sub, if you think they sound like crap, replace them first.
