Basically, what I want to know is:

If I buy 4 rims and 4 winter tires on the 2009 Corolla, and I don't put any TPMS on these wheels, what will happen? Just a light go on in the dash and thats it? No beeping I hope...

And if I want the TPMS to work with the new tires and new rims, do Ihave to buy new sensors? How much would that cost?

I put on and take off the winter tires myself, and save this way, so I don't want to pay extra for that TPMS.
