Where to run power wire, besides behind wheel well
I going to be putting my system together soon, but I am going to be using kickpods so I do not want to run my power wire behind the wheel well and through the grommet behind the kickpanel. My friend once ran 4 guage wire through the firewall under the passenger side dash but I have been unable to do as he did.
I'm thinking about running all the power and remote turn on wires down the middle so that they do not interfere with the RCA and speaker wire. So it would be best if I could get my wire through that hole again, however, this time around I'll be running 2 or 1 guage wire so I am not sure that it will fit. Are there any locations that you guys know of that are safe to drill through? Also, does the carpet in the back part of the car come up easily? between the front and back seats because I will obviously want to conceal the wires and I doubt it will be as easy as running them along the doors.
