I wanted to put the v6 3.3L in it because its 230hp and i think that would be a perfect amount of HP for my camry. Current 157hp just doesnt cut it for me However the SE camry that comes with the 3.3L has a 5spd Auto Transmission, my tranny is 4 speed.. like all the LE 4 cylinder models. I would like to get a new engine without having to put in a new tranny, mine was just rebuilt and has kevlar clutches and a torque converter. So its strong, but just not sure if its good for the v6.
what? kevlar clutches "and a torque converter"? toyota auto transmissions already have one of those.

the u241e is a totally different transmission than the u151e, and very likely does not cross-fit between the 2az-fe and 3mz-fe.

but more details on the "kevlar clutches"?
