Hi

My Toyota Aurion makes a sort of moaning sound when I drive it. Its mainily when I am braking, but the sound is also there when I am driving very slowly too. It sounds like a moan or a creak. I have taken the car to Toyota but no one can tell me what the issue is. I would really appreciate if anyone has had this issue before and solved it.

Does it happen all the time? Whether the engine is hot or cold? Does it happen when turning?

It happens intermitently and regardless of whether its hot or cold.
It can be really loud like a moan or sometimes its almost like its creaking.
The sound is driving me crazy and no one seems to know how to fix it.

Bad power steering pump or master cylinder maybe? I'd try and get a 2nd mechanic to take a look at your problem.

Its quite sad cause I only bought the car in October of last year and it has had that problem since the 2nd month.
