you can get the tranny (W58) from any celica 82-85 or supra of the same bodystyle.
that add says its been swapped to a W55 (truck tranny)
the weight difference is about 20lbs from a W50 to a W58, the gearing is mostly the same, but the shifting is much better. both will take the same amount of abuse without blinking.
as for the rearend, ask that seller to measure the width before you commit. will bolt up but there might be width issues. also seems a bit high of a price without the diff (head).
i really dont advise welding the diff.
chew through tires really fast.
will spin out in corners when not trying to drift.
hops around slow tight corners, killing bushings and maybe breaking stuff.
and always ends in a bad way.
