I wouldn't get my hopes up. This has been in the news and rumour hill over and over for the past year or so. It could mean that Toyota doesn't want another manufacturer to have the right to the Supra nameplate. They don't seem to be doing anything remotely close to indicate that they're bringing back the car for a fifth generation whatsoever.

That happend months ago. It's interesting they have let it lapse for 4 years, but either way it's good they secured it, though I doubt any other manufacturer would use that name. There would be a bounty on their heads if they did.

The FT-86 means that new management is making a difference already.
I presume any Supra would be badged a Lexus in order for the high performing F-group to not be overtaken.
It could potentially be an $70K Toyota as a 2-door, if Lexus stays with the GS-F and IS-F 4 door theme (LF-A as a halo only).
