Thumbs up FT-86's Boxer Engine shown in new uncovered logo/emblem

from FT86club

New uncovered FT-86 logo shows the small sports coupe will have a boxer motor - with its flat horizontally opposed pistons and "86" in the middle of the logo. Its always been rumored to come with a boxer engine but this is the best proof yet

I don't know, that doesn't send me. Looks like a PowerRanger's belt or something. It's uninspiring.

Uninspiring is an understatement.

Looks like something straight out of Speed Racer.

Having the cars internal reference code on the emblem is just plain silly.

It's more than that though. They are trying to tie it back to the legendary AE86 Corolla.

I'll be quite shocked if this is the emblem they choose for this car. That graphic looks very rough at best.

Those are some pretty big shoes to fill.

Guess it explains the continued delays since Toyota can't afford to mess this up.
