Toyota has released a teaser image of the second FT-86 concept iteration, the “Toyota FT-86 II”, a near-production version of the Toyota FT-86 rear-wheel-drive sports coupe. The front fascia appears to have been toned down slightly from the first concept version, yet still aggressive and very attractive. The Toyota FT-86 II concept will debut at the 2011 Geneva autoshow on March 2nd.

I am SO going to take on of these for a test drive. IF the car is put into production and I like what I see, I'll pick one up after the first year or so.
Someone's spreading it that only North America will get the FT-86 as a Scion, everywhere else, it will be a Toyota. I don't like that rumor and am not inclined to believe it, lol.

While I don't like it either, I'm inclined to believe it. Only because Toyota is trying to prop up a dying and failed idea to set up a newer younger 'hip' brand.
Except it makes no sense. Scion is supposed to be $20k and under, for people my age (21). The FT-86 is supposed to start around $25k and go up from there. How many people my age do you know that can afford a $25-$30k car?
