Buying a 92 Celica GT 5FSE,need advice(Updated!help)

Im going to buy a 92 GT, 5 speed manual.

its been sitting for about 6 months in a non running condition.

has a blown headgasket, ive only replaced one head gasket before, and it was on a SOHC Honda Civic.

I know i can do it, i got a knack for this type of thing, and ill have help from my friends who've done this a lot before.

heres my question: Im buying it for $500, he said everything else is ok, just the head gasket is blown, cosmetics are in good condition also.

What do you think? good deal? Im going to make it a project car, and do a swap of the engine in about a year or so, but, what do you think? good deal? no? yes? just do it like nike?

let me know, thanks.
