92 GT4 Questions.
Hello everyone,
Well I have a 1992 Toyota Celica All Trac Turbo. Well we did engine rebuild (shop did shall i say). We replaced head gasket and complete top to bottom rebuild. Now i am having some problems. I used to live in New Mexico and the car would pull hard as can be at 18psi on stock turbo before with top mount intercooler and no blow off valve stock engine basically. Well head gasket was crap on this engine when we got it so we rebuild it and did front mount intercooler and BOV. Well now the highest i can get the boost is 12lbs. But It feels like it spooling 4lbs. I don't know if its the front mount causing this big lose or if it is something the shop did wrong. Vacuum hoses or something else. And why i cant get above 10-12lbs. We also changed out turbo's to rebuilt CT26. I have old one still. If i want to run 18psi what would i need to replace to keep this steady boost? Injectors, Fuel pump?
