If I bring my car to Brullen, how do I know if the exhaust will gain/lose power? You can build an exhaust on pure theory (ie. choose a type of muffler, piping diameter, etc.), but whether it works or not is a different story. Brullen is not going to make an exhaust, let you go to the dyno, and come back to modify it if it loses power or it doesn't gain as much as you expect. That's why I prefer the tried and true exhausts that have been tested time and time again by other people.
Are you willing to put your money on it? If custom exhausts (ie. Brullen) are as good as you say they are, I will gladly take my car to Brullen to have him make me a new exhaust. If it makes more power (and no more noise) than my SARD exhaust, I'll gladly pay for it. If it doesn't, you pay for it.
Nothing like a good debate...
