I used the information from the link at the bottom to decide on an APS 996A LCD remote start alarm. I picked this one because I wanted a remote that had an interior temperature sensor. I got it from Ebay for $153 USD delivered and am getting it professionally installed for $125. The same shop that will do the install wanted $380 if I just got everything through them. Check out other models if you don"t need the interior temp. displayed on the remote. From what I learned from researching remote starters, the quality of the installation has as much or more to do with the quality/brand name of the alarm, so make sure you use an installer with a good reputation and is familiar with your make and model of car.
