You have to be very careful when installing them and use bulb grease. Do not touch the bulb when installing it! Use the bulb grease anywhere water can get in! The bulb is getting contaminated. Any new bulb will fail if it get contaminated and it's easy to contaminate. The are very sensative to contamination through any holes that lead to the bulb, but don't grease up the vent holes on the bulb itself.
