I run it hard, I definitely think harder than the average person for sure, which is definitely a contributor, but im just being sour because I always hear about people boosting on stock internals and I don't even have any boost lol. But yeah, I've built multiple motors before (worked for a performance shop) and always take great care of them because I have seen how absolutely important it is. Especially when you run them hard. As far as abuse goes, considering what this motor was meant for, I abuse it - not going to lie - but I think a lot of us do, and still get good results. this motor still lasted longer than a ford lol.

I think I just need to start from scratch with this bad boy. Get a good port and polish, do everything perfectly, leave the internals stock (a whole new rebuilt bottom end that I found for 600 bucks), and get an auto tranny cooler, and some good supporting mods. I really enjoy taking my car to the track and on mountain runs, and definitely want to be able to keep doing that. If I could find the 5spd e153 swap, that would probably best for me and my driving style, and put less stress on the motor (due to clutch).
