My initial complaint on hestiation on acceleration was solved by flashing the computer with the new ECM update and the car flies at the getgo, great. But the other problems were still unsolved.

Went back again with the same complaints and was informed that there is Transmission issue with the car. Also involved Toyota engineer this time. All decided faulty Tranmission, now I get a new one with a torqe converter. Splendid and everything under warranty.

I also asked Toyota to extend my transmission warranty to an additional 60K warranty. Lets see how this goes.
Well if you have an I4 and you had done a search you would have found 2 TSBs for your problems (or looked in the stickies under GEN6).

You apparently have had one of the 3 hesitation TSBs done.

TSB TC010-06 (downshift) is free up to 60,000 miles and TSB 0068-08 (hesitation, lugging below 1,500 RPM) is covered under your emissions warranty.

Use the Search, you can find out about them.
