I know these rims are price, but I really like they way the look. I got a few questions about them:
1. The tires that are used with rims like these are going to be those low profile racing kind right? Is it possible to get a different type of tire that has a longer tread life or is any tire that goes on these rims going to have a really short lifespan?
2. Are these rims lighter then the stock wheels? Is there going to be a huge difference in gas milage?
Tires are totally dependant on a few things.
1. What type of the tire they are, not how low the profile is. Check the treadwear rating.
2. Your driving. I can get 10k miles out of the same set of tires I can get 60k out of.
The wheels are slightly heavier then stock. You'll lose a MPG or 2 but the handing will dramatically increase and the appearance it really nice.

Thanks man! Can you get low profile all season tires for the 19" TRD scion xb Rim? I assume the allseason is a harder rubber and less performance, but longer tread life. Thanks!
You def can get an all season tire but they really aren't all season once you get to that size, on top of the fact that you don't want to drive in the winter with your nice wheels.
I've seen some halfway decent results with the Pirelli P-zero Nero but they are a somewhat pricey tire. Not that there are any other ones out there in the size you need that are cheaper.
You'll want a 235-35r19 but if you want to save a few dollars you could go down to a 225 instead of the 235, keeping in mind that you'll only save a few dollars.

Keep in mind now, that price doesn't include tires, only wheels and lugs.

I dont know... I saw a different site and it was $222 per wheel, not sure where they are getting 2k from?
Cost to buy and install new TMPS monitors, the steelie sensors do not fit the TRD wheels. Time to reprogram the sensors for your car, mount and balance the tires you choose and put the wheels on the cars. There's more then just swapping them on unfortunatly
Tire pressure sensors are 120+ dollars each just by themselves.

Oh man! Those stock rims are looking nicer and nicer, I hear you can choose from 3 different hub caps? LOL!!!
I know this thread is a few months old. I have these on my '08 Camry and I have not seen a decrease in gas mileage with the rims on. I saw more of a decrease when they added the 10% ethanol to our gas here in FL. Good luck! Eric.
