Lightbulb Rear wiper blade replacement for Gen2 xB's

There is an alternative to going to the dealer for a replacement rear blade on the 2008+ Scion Xb's. It may first appear that the blade and arm are one piece but if you take a look, you'll see the wiper blade can be replaced and its actually quite simple. There may be other alternatives, but the 'Trico Exact Fit Rear Blade' at wipers123 online snaps right onto the special rear arm and looks like the factory original. Much cheaper than the dealer alternative. Comes with removal and replacement instructions too. Hope this helps.

You do know that a factory insert only costs $4.00 right?

I know that refills are pretty cheap but I don't like to mess around taking apart the blade assembly, plus the entire blade/frame goes through a ton of abuse in the winter...why scrape the window when you can just use the wiper??? LOL This route, everything's new...

Generally, if you ask a parts person for a wiper insert, they will replace it for you also. I'd rather replace the insert then the whole thing. If the plastic isn't broke, why replace it? Thats just wasting money, plus, I can put a new insert in my factory blade. Usually can't in the aftermarket one.
