By gearbox I'm guessing you mean a manual or 5 speed transmission?

That being the case, yes. Mine is a 5 speed. I don't trust automatics.

yes i mean manual..i have a 2007 JMD bb tranny went after 25000km will not replace outo tranny .seeking to go manual box.

Hang on......the JDM bB in 2007 isn't the same as an xB in the US. In the US, The 2006 xB is similar to a bB in japan but we didnt' have a 2007 model and now our 2008+ xB is the Corolla Rumion in Japan.

The cars in the US and Japan dont' share the same engines or transmissions so I don't know if your model bB would have an available Manual transmission, but I would think that it would.

my 2007 bb is a 2008 rumion ,but with a k3 1.3 engine.made straight out of diahtsu..all parts of body on rumion fit perfectly on my bb.

I'm not sure if your 1.3 would have a manual transmission as an option. in the states, our xB's have 2.4 litre engines with the option of the 5 speed manual or the 4 speed auto.

From what I'm reading, the 1.3(JDM) is ONLY available with an automatic transmission.

Is there anyway you'd be able to take a pic and post it so I could see the model you've got?
