2008 xb

2008 XB Brake pad change. I have done my own brake work on our cars including a 98 Mazda 626 and several other cars. I plan on using a c-clamp as in many other brake jobs to compress the calipers. Are there any issues with this on the 2008 XBs? For instance. Do the pistons fit so tightly that they must be rotated back an forth or in one direction to avoid scratching the bore? Is there anything about removing the clips that requires some special technique. The rotors in very good shape, have .002 or .003" wear rings, nothing you can feel with your finger nail. Even so I plan on having my shop turn them just to put zero finish back. Am I over doing this point? Thanks for the input.

The brakes on the B are about as straight forward as they come. If you've done brakes before, they will easy.
