Echo Hatch Body Kits?

What are the best kits and where can you buy them? Links please!

Anyone have pics of the wildest-looking Echo Hatch / Vitz / Yaris they've ever seen?

None of the EDM or JDM kits for Vitz/Yaris will fit the Canadian Echo Hatchback...

The bumpers for the Canadian hatch were changed, with larger v-bars beneath them to meet stricter crash regulations, also meaning our bumpers are longer...

The only body kitting that will fit is the Front Lip from REV Competition in BC, (www.revcompetition.com) they have specially made one for the Canadian Echo Hatch...

In order for any of the EDM/JDM kits to fit, you would have to move and re-weld the v-bars beneath the bumpers, which is unsafe and not legal...

Kits like the Veilside one shown have the above problem, plus they were made for the Gen 1 Yaris/Vitz which means the headlamps are the first gen non-teardrop versions...

So, in other words, apart from RevComp, there are NO compatible body kits for the Canadian Echo hatch? (Unless one wants an entire kit except for the front bumper?)

Unless you want to modify the front and rear v-bar, there are no kits that will fit the front or the rear...

Skirting on the sides should work, provided you get a kit made for the Yaris/Vitz with the same # of doors...But you can get factory skirting from Toyota Canada as well, there's two types available...

The REV lip is the only kit thusfar made specifically to fit our unique bumpers....

Turns out that these guys make / carry a handful of kits that are compatible with the CAD Echo hatch!

Not too shabby-looking, either!

Those BC Auto kits are all JDM bumper spec...If you look at the pictures closely you can see how much shorter the bumpers are...

I have contacted, as well as other people in the last year BC Auto about these kits, and they will indeed tell you that the v-bar has to be modified to fit any of these kits....

Cheers
