This may just be the first TRD SuperCharge install in Canada...

This was at the 2005 importfest, after talking to the guy at was at the TRD boot about turboing one of these. He ask me if i wanta see something and pop the hood...

There are some issue with the Ecu (and other things) they are trying to work out..

Here in the uk we have a young lady with a Yaris t sport(rs in N.America) with the tte supercharger.
All the uk garages were a bit dubious about fitting it for her and quoted her somewhere in region of 800 pounds. She phoned TTE in Germany and they said bring it over and we will do it for £100. The supercharger cost £2900 by the way.

I inquired with Reg Reimer of RCTS (monsterhorsepower.com) who are the Canadian supplier for TTE, they did the previous TRD Echo Hatch Supercharger, and this is the same unit.

He quoted 3400 euros before importing, and the ECU would need to be recalibrated...That's 5000 CDN before shipping costs, and install and tuning costs...

The owner of one of the TRD Echo Hatches said it cost close to 10,000 to get the TTE Unit setup and running in his hatch...

This is the reason Toyota Canada never offered it as a dealer installed add-on for the Echo Hatchback, because TTE wouldn't lower the pricing, and there was also a hood clearance issue...
