questions about new 2006 yaris

i went to the dealership to test drive the yaris 3 times so far. But there are questions that i need answers to since they couldn'y answer them at the dealer

1. for the lowering springs how much drop are they and do they change the shocks also when you select this option.

2. Does the cd player on the yaris have output for a sub box if not can the frame plate from a echo be used to changed the stereo to an aftermarket one?

3. What is the offest of the rs mags

4. Did anyone one rust proof there new 2006 yaris since the ecu is on the firewall; was it a problem or does anyone know if it can cuase problems. ( the dealer is trying to sell me rustproofing if i go somewhere else the oil or wax they use can cause problem for the ecu then it not covered under warrenty)

That is my biggest worry is that ecu on the firewall and the candian climate. Does anyone know if there is a way to protect it from the elements? thanks.

1. The lowering springs are Eibach Pro-Kit, and are progressive...They do not change the shocks...
They drop the car about 1.75 inches...I had them installed on my Yaris RS...

2. Not sure...

3. The TRD 17" wheels for the new Vitz are+50 offset, and many aftermarket offerings for the new Vitz range from +44 to +50, not sure what the factory 15" offset is though...

4. Unless you drive with your hood open, I can't see why the ECU is in danger on the firewall...I have never had any debris or road elements end up on the firewall of any of my cars...
