Canada Yaris Wheels

I'm going to be taking delivery of a shiny new Yaris in a couple of weeks. I was looking at getting the Toyota alloy wheels with it, but there are nicer wheels available for less. I'm wondering if anyone knows if the wheel (14x6") will use the same offset as the Echo. All the wheel shops I've talked to don't have listings for the Yaris yet.

My dealer said offset should be same as Echo as Yaris is based on the Echo platform, but best to check backside of stock rims for any markings as some have that info stamped on them

Its not a Supra or an MR2 dudes.. chances are Toyota will use the same 4x100 offsets they use on Echos and older Corollas.

That's the bolt pattern. Offset is car specific, and over the years, Toyota has had them all over the map. I've read a report they are near 50, where the echo's were high 30's, so they may not fit.

An update: went to www.TRDparts.jp and think I found specs for some of the wheels:

Vehicle
Model Code
Application
Size
Off Set
Remarks

VitzSCP10,NCP10・13
42610-SP0E0-00
14×6.0JJ
29

42610-SP0F0-00
14×6.0JJ
38

42610-SP0A0-##
15×6.5JJ
40
Recommended wheel to fir with TRD Sportivo

As well,

Vitz
NCP91/RS only
42610-SPK20-16
17×7.0J
+50
Reference Tire Size 205/45-17

I'm guessing based on this that a 14 inch wheel with offset of 30 to 40 "should" fit - depending on how it was actually made. The bigger the wheel, more offset +50 when you get to 17's.

Like I said.. any 4x100 "offsets" will probably fit.. most 4x100 Echo and Corolla wheels have offsets between 38-50mm

REN69, you're right, just nice to have some kind of technical babble to be sure when going out looking for wheels.
