Canada good car starter for echo?

any recommendations? this one from canadian tire is only sale tomorrow:

how much of a pickle are they to install? (thinking to get my bf to do the installation). if they are difficult to install, how much approx will it cost to get it done professionally?

we might also get a starter for our 95 honda minivan. so if they both have the same brand starter, will the remote (for one) start both of them at the same time? that'd be kind of inconvenient.

thanks

I went and had a aftermarket one installed for $169.00 plus tax which is what yours will probably cost by the time it's done. Any place like Visions or Future Shop or any other place like that has them, but I'd shop around till you find a deal that makes you happy..

Kinda depends on the BF, some are mechanically inept others are not so mechanically inept.

Basically if he’s a monkey than No!, he won’t be able to do it. If however his I.Q. is over 75 / he owns a multimeter / a good set of wire-strippers / has access to the wiring schematic for your car (widely available on the net) than it will be a snap.

No, not necessarily. Most devices will work on a specific frequency , they are coded to each other when installed (many will even have dip switches inside the brain(main unit) which allow you to set the code yourself)

Okay here is a hint from a Car Audio Sales Guy ( and this includes starters to!) I have worked at Futureshop and now A&B sound and I will tell you for a fact that if you buy that 1 at CT NO ONE WILL ISTALL IT. and that includes CT. Go to Any place that sells AND has on site installs. pay between 130 and 180 depending if it is a standard. It will require a bypass module wich will run around $80 bucks installed and you need a spare key for it! install will range from 100 to 180 depending again on if it is a standard.
