Canada 06 YarisSecurity upgrade problem

Is anyone else going through this problem.... I got a 2006 Yaris, ordered the security system w/keyless and they attempted to install it. Had it in the shop for 2 days and said it must be a problem with the system. Ordered another one. Installed it and have the same problem. The system won't arm or lock the doors. It will unlock and presumably disarm the system. They gave me the "we're in contact with Toyota support" and we'll get back to you... well it's be a month now and no answers.
Anybody have any ideas out there?

Canada What is your Yaris

3 or 5 door and what trim level?

They told me they could only put hte security upgrade on the 5 door.

I have the Yaris LE with package C and I haven't had any problems. I think it is a factory installed system on my car, so that may be the difference.

It is 5 door, LE... Still not working... All I keep getting from the dealer is that they are waiting for Toyota Support to get back to them. Very frustrating. I attempted to call Toyota Canada direct, that was a waste of time. The only time I hear anything is when I call them. No proactive contact from their side at all. I'm very disappointed with the service level to date. I'm starting to think I could have made a mistake with Toyota.
