Australia Did you name your Yaris?

Hi all!

My new silver YRS is arriving in a couple of weeks time, and as (to me) she looks cute and girly and oh so shiny (can't you just tell I'm excited!), I was looking for a name for her.

Did any of you name your Yaris? Or does anyone have any suggestions for a cutsy girly name for a silver yaris?

Ta!
Blossy

my blue 3dr Yaris is named 'Brrm brrm'. My friend named her grey Echo 'Phantom', but unofficially calls it 'putt putt'.

My familys Yaris is also officially named Yaris. We don't say "Will you go get the car?". We say "Will you go get Yaris?".

Yaris sounds cute with Danish pronountiation. "Yaris is happy today. It went 22km/l".

None of us would say that about the other cars.

drell42. That sounds like Dutch

The Danish pronunciation of Yaris is with a German "a" like in "bar" and "i" as in "jist". You can hear it once the latest Yaris commercial is uploaded to http://www.toyota.dk/experience/multimedia/movie.asp

I remember when I was in America and the friend over there told me he drove a "Be-em-dobble-u". I had no idea what he was talking about until I saw his car.

We pronounce it as in Germany "Be-em-vee"

No. It is still "Ya-ris", but with the light 'a'.

Potato, potato. It's that kind of difference.

I'm not sure. I've got a few names in mind but I dunno...

Sylvie (because she's silver)
Tsuki (meaning "moon" in japanese, because she's shiny)
Holly (Spaceship computer from "Red Dwarf", if you know what I mean)

My partner likes "Audrey". Why? God knows, but he thinks its cute!
