Canada H/P on a Yaris?

Okay so I know that a Yaris Comes stock with 106hp but what I want to know is if I had the Borla Exhaust and the Cold air intake what do you think the HP would climp to? I was hoping around the 120s, close to most of the Matirx'. And nearly 500lbs lighter.

So what do you guys think

Thanks, Rick

Well, the new Yaris according to the new SAE standards puts out 106 hp, while in japan the same powerplant is rated at 110 hp...However it's more likely 93 hp, based on some Echos/xBs that have been dyno'd...

The intake exhaust combo would probably net more like 3-4 hp for the intake, and 1-2 hp for the axel back, at the very most...

Cheers

My parents have a 02 Echo Hatchback Red 4door 5spd
I have a 02 Echo Hatchback Red 2door 5spd with the Borla and AEM intake...

Mine always felt faster, or perhaps it was just louder But to find out, i am going to the dyno in the next 3-4 weeks with both cars, just to see if the borla and AEM make any difference at all. They are the identical cars, with damn near the same number of KM, so the results will be interesting for sure.

I still havent lined them up and raced either, i think they are damn near the same weight, the 4door is like 10lbs heavier, thats it, so that would be a good indication as to what car has more HP.

I'll let you know what i find out!

My echo hatch 5spd (same engine and gearbox) dynoed 94 to the wheels bone stock with the same 108 engine crank power rating. Given driveline losses, it sounds like the 108 number is pretty accurate, or mine's a freak.
