Shifter Boot

Well this is my dilema,

My lifestyle right now best suits an automatic and just like the 5 speed version the shifter on the auto is very ugly. What I want to know is that if you guys think it would be stupid or corny to put a nice boot over the auto shifter? I was thinking about going for a small theme of Black Suede. So the shifter boot, seatbelt covers and sometime soon the seats will all be in black suede? What do you think let me know!

I personally think that's a great idea. It gives the car not only a theme but you can accent it with your personal tastes. I like doing the same thing. I obviously have an ECHO and I bought seat covers and a steering wheel cover both are black with some silver or grey accents so it compliements not only each other but the outside of the car which is black. I would like to accent the dash but I don't know how I can do that and if its possible, I've seen pictures of other people painting their dash or the gauge cluster. Does boot mean a decorative cover for the tranny shifter? I thought they only made those for manuals...that would be cool if it can fit over your auto. Hope that helps! Good luck!!
