Canada Confused about options

As some of you already know, I am curretnly looking for an ECHO 2003 or 2004 with a manual transmission, power steering, AC and CD player. So far, I have only found ECHOs that have some of what I want but not everything. They either have power steeering but no AC or AC and no power steering. I don't particularly care about any of the other options available ie. power locks, heated mirrors, etc. But, since I have never owned a car, I don't know if I am being too demanding with this choices and at the same time I am afraid to buy a car without one of this functions thinking that I will not care about them to later realize that I should've gotten it after the honeymoon period had passed. Would you buy a car without power steering or AC? Is there as specific feature that you must have? I appreciate any feedback that you may have.

C

you'd be a complete fool to get a car with no a/c.

im not sure how important power steering is, i dunno if i have that or not. i have power locks and manual windows. i like having the manual windows better incase the battery dies or something while the windows are down (we've had that happen with our old honda before). i could live without the power locks as well though.

the only features that i cant live without are a/c and an auto transmission.
