buffeting noise - Toyota Nation Forum : Toyota Car and Truck Forums

Hey all. It was a nice day so I decided to open the back windows half way while driving about 100kph and the the result was EXTREME buffeting thoughout the car. It almost hurt my ears and I thought that it might delfect and blow out the rear windows. Has anybody else experianced this? Could some of you people try the this and see if the results are the same and report?

I get the same thing...just roll another second window down a little and it will go away.

This happens in A LOT of cars out there. It's extremely bad in my 03 Camry, it sounds like there's a subway in my back seat...it's almost deafening. Happens in my Accord too.

Not much you can do except roll down the front windows.
